Working on the Black Rock Lock Motor Control included supplying all plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to rehabilitate portions of the Black Rock Lock (BRL). The BRL currently utilizes MCC’s that are located in the six (6) control houses (East Upper, East Middle, East Lower, West Upper, West Middle, West Lower). The MCC’s have been in service since the 1970’s and were to be phased out and new ones installed for the navigable river motor control.
